Blackbeards Smokehouse
Blackbeards is a small artisan smokehouse located in Thames, on the Coromandel Peninsula. While the business began as a hobby, merging a love of smoking food and local seafood, its grown into a food business that supplies delicious smoked mussels New Zealand wide.
We love taking mussels grown in the Hauraki gulf and beyond, smoking them in New Zealand grown Mānuka, and then finally blending in more of nature’s flavours – such as Makrut lime, chilli, garlic, and fresh spices to create amazing and unique smoked mussels.
