Thames is handily located approx 90mins from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga.

From Auckland, head south on SH1 and turn off onto SH2. After 32km, turn left at the roundabout onto SH25 and continue for another 24km. Head over the Kopu Bridge and Kopu roundabout, turn left towards Thames for another 5km and arrive in Thames.

From Hamilton, head north on SH1 and turn off at Te Kauwhata. After 17km turn left onto Okaeria Rd and continue for another 8km. Turn right onto SH2 for 3km and turn left at the roundabout onto SH25 and continue for another 24km. Head over the Kopu Bridge and Kopu roundabout, turn left and continue for another 5km to arrive in Thames.

From Whitianga, head north and follow SH25 for 97km, passing through to KÅ«otuna and Coromandel before heading south to reach Thames.

From Tauranga, head north west on SH2 for 80km through Waihi and the Karangahake Gorge to Paeroa. Turn right onto SH26 and head north for 26km to Kopu. Continue north through the Kopu roundabout for another 5km to arrive in Thames.

From Whangamata, head north on SH25 for 21km. Turn left onto SH25a and head over the Coromandel Ranges for 27km to Kopu. Turn right and continue north through the Kopu roundabout for another 5km to arrive in Thames.
