Lady Bowen Bed & Breakfast
Built in 1868, The Lady Bowen has the historical charm of days gone by. We offer eight comfortable guest rooms along with a large guest lounge (with pool table, tv and reading materials), a large dining room (with microwave, boiling water and cutlery and crockery), a covered deck and lovely garden, along with a balcony, so guests have plenty of room to relax, slow down and spread out.
Our family business is proud to offer good old fashioned kiwi hospitality and you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and sent off in the morning with a hearty cooked, or if you prefer, continental breakfast which is included in the price of your room. We are a short walk from the main shopping and café precinct of Thames and close to many attractions (including the Hauraki Rail trail)
We are happy to assist with planning your get-away and can give you advice on attractions, places to visit and routes to take. Not only are we the great base for a Coromandel holiday, but being less than 90 minutes from the Auckland International Airport means we are the ideal spot for a first or last nights stay for international travellers.
We look forward to meeting you and are sure you’ll enjoy our heritage accommodation J – Barbara and Stu Caisley
