Jeanne-Marie Cantereau
Jeanne-Marie Cantereau is an outdoor painter and her favourite medium is watercolour with a “loose representational” style. Jeanne-Marie leads a group of watercolourists in Thames and offers periodic formal workshops and personal tuition in Thames and the Coromandel Peninsula.
She regularly holds solo and shared exhibitions. She has been successful with National, Regional and Local awards.
She has created and self-published her illustrated “French Cooking in New Zealand”. Her watercolours can be seen at Thames Society of Arts Gallery in Thames, at “The Little Gallery” in Tairua, at the ArtMarket Gallery in Waihi and at her Studio in Thames.

Jeanne-Marie organises classes and workshops in Thames and Coromandel Peninsula. The workshops cover composition, tone values, colours, transparency and the methods to achieve a painting with enthusiasm in a relaxed ambience. Contact her for more information.
