Thames Music Group Friday Lunchtime Concert – University of Waikato Vocal Students
Event Description: Thames Music Group’s May Free Friday Lunchtime Concert will feature students from the University of Waikato Conservatorium of Music Voice Department. Thames Music Group provides this annual opportunity for Thames music lovers to experience performances by some of NZ’s most remarkable emerging young professionals from the popular Postgraduate and Undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Waikato.

The programme being presented by Gina Sanders on Friday 29 May is entitled “Proving the Passions – Viva L’amour, Love Everlasting, Viva L’amore, Ewige Liebe…” – a programme seeking to find which nation has the ultimate understanding of the passions, perils and power of LOVE…

Voice and piano students from the University of Waikato Conservatorium of Music will enchant us with music spanning several centuries and continents, on the quest to capture the essence of love expressed in song.

Come and enjoy beautiful music and help support the next generation of Aotearoa’s vocal talent.
