Ruaumoko – Restless Land

an interactive exhibition, developed and toured by Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa and Natural Hazards Commission Toku Tü Ake, with support from GNS Science, Te Pü Ao.

Delve into the world of Ruaumoko, the atua of volcanoes and earthquakes and explore the science behind these events. Hands on activities, a shake table and engaging workbook feature preparedness for natural disasters.

With the motto “Don’t be scared. Be Prepared!” this an exciting exhibition for all ages.

Museum opens Monday to Saturday 10 am – 1 pm

Exhibition runs from Thursday 19th June to Tuesday 19th August

Entry, including museum visit, adults $5, children $2,
2 adults with 2 school-age children $10
