The 3rd annual Ngākau Carving Symposium will be held at Te Kura o te Kauaeranga/Thames South School during the April School Holidays, with the final auction day Saturday the 26th from 11am.

22 artists will create their pieces of art for auction on the school field over the two weeks.
During the first week there will be a number of Toi Māori (Māori Art) Workshops for people to take part in, there is a FREE Whānau Day on Sunday the 20th with a scavenger hunt with great prizes from local businesses, a Sausage Sizzle and the school pool will be open.
